Founded by Anne Plamondon in 2018 after more than 20 years as a dancer on the world stage and a career as a choreographer that began with the solo Les mêmes yeux que toi (2012) and that's been marked by prolific collaborations with Kidd Pivot, for whom she contributed to the works Lost Action, Fault, The You Show, and the Olivier-winning A Picture of You Falling, as well as with RUBBERBAND, of which she was co-artistic director until 2015, Anne Plamondon Productions enables its founder to carry out her own creative projects, on subjects near and dear to her, and to generate new artistic collaborations.
Since then, the company has multiplied its collaborations with major institutions such as Toronto's Fall for Dance North festival, where it created the duet Counter Cantor (2018) with choreographer Emma Portner, as well as Fiddle Embrace (2018), a work for eighteen students from the Ryerson School of Dance. It has also created works for Alberta Ballet and Arts Umbrella Dance in Vancouver.
