Live Audiodescription

Audiodescription enables blind and partially sighted people to discover live dance through the words of audiodescribers. The oral description of the work, a tactile visit and a talk back with the artists allow to enjoy dance in a different way.

Procedure

Schedule

6:30 p.m.: Spectator welcome and technological support
7:15 p.m.: Presentation workshop, auditorium entrance
8:00 p.m.: Performance on stage
9:30 p.m.: Meet the artists and the audio-describer
10:00 p.m.: End of event

Rate

$20 / ticket (taxes and service charges included). Free for the accompanying person.

Equipment required

You need a smartphone and a pair of headphones. Danse-Cité can provide smartphones for those who don't have one. You can download the Sennheiser application before you come.
