A native of Dallas, Texas, Ausia Jones earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance with a specialization in choreography from the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. Mentored by renowned dancer and choreographer William Forsythe, Ausia Jones' choreographic voice reflects her generation - lively, spontaneous, and informed. She offers an artistic perspective that draws on diverse gestural languages, groove and counterpoint. Ausia hopes to share her knowledge and love of dance in ways that inspire and educate.
