For the second year running, the Partenariat du Quartier des spectacles is paying tribute to artists and professionals whose careers are closely linked to the Quartier with its Recognition Prize.

Madeleine Careau, Chief Executive Officer (2000-2024) - Orchestre symphonique de Montréal.
Jean-Claude Chabot, Vice-President France Film - Espace St-Denis.
Pierre Des Marais, Artistic and Executive Director - Danse Danse.
Ludmilla Chiriaeff, choreographer, dancer, founder and artistic director - Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.

Among the 7 personalities honoured this year, we are proud to see Pierre Des Marais, founder, artistic director and general manager of Danse Danse.

A tribute video projection
The recognition prize takes the form of an architectural video projection, a signature practice of the Partenariat and the Quartier, to artistically illustrate the careers of remarkable people and bring them to the attention of a large Montreal audience.
Mouvements d'audace: sept portraits hommage, by Montreal digital artist Bar Rubinstein, will be projected daily on the façade of the WILDER | Espace danse building, from nightfall, from September 26 to November 6, 2024.
