CINARS Tribute Prize to Pierre des Marais

A major forum for the performing arts, the CINARS Biennale is a must-attend event that, for nearly 40 years, has fostered international collaborations and propelled numerous Quebec and Canadian companies onto the international scene. The 21st Biennale came to a close on November 16, 2024, after an intense week during which many professionals from the performing arts community gathered around artistic presentations, conferences and diverse exchange opportunities.

THE CINARS 2024 AWARDS


At each Biennial, CINARS celebrates inspiring personalities whose commitment and achievements have had a lasting impact on the performing arts. The presentation of the CINARS 2024 awards was an important moment of recognition for five winners.

Awards presentation

Recognition Award - Claire Molinot, General Manager, Parbleux.

Uriel Luft Award (ex-aequo) - Annick-Patricia Carrière, Founder and Director, Agence Station Bleue. Camille Zunino, Production and Distribution Manager, Temal Productions.

Tribute Award (ex-aequo) - Norman Armour actor and founder of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival. Pierre Des Marais, Artistic and Executive Director, Danse Danse.

A Tribute Prize awarded to Pierre Des Marais

Pierre Des Marais, founder, Artistic and Executive Director of Danse Danse, was honored with the prestigious Tribute Award. This distinction celebrates a person who has left his mark on the performing arts through his commitment, leadership and influence, and highlights an exceptional contribution to the promotion of the living arts.
