One evening - eight choreographers

Mesmerizing yet deep, Minuit quelque part brings together ten outstanding dancers and eight exceptional choreographers around the mysterious need to move when the night envelops us to the core. A skillful balance between contemporary dance and pop culture!

Anne Plamondon

Distilling the unifying power of dance, Minuit quelque part is a journey through movement, featuring ten performers guiding us through eight tableaux imagined by renowned Quebec choreographers, who match each other in virtuosity to get the pleasure of movement to become contagious: Marie Chouinard’s inimitable style unites with Anne Plamondon’s intimate subversiveness, Kristen Céré’s poignant athleticism, Ismaël Mouaraki’s intoxicating physicality, Virginie Brunelle’s raw sensuality, Lydia Bouchard and Merryn Kritzinger’s poetry and Charles-Alexis Desgagnés’s explosive dazzle. Living to the rhythm of an electrifying music score, the show gives a glimpse of the many different ways of experiencing the night, where art, finesse and amazement meet. It reminds us that it's always time to dance and dream, because it's always Midnight somewhere.
